However, your bashing of the example mod is unwarranted because it is just a mod to show things that can be done to the game. It isn't meant to replace the game in any way or be serious (one of the races are hamburgers.). It's just there help show modders what can be done.
Du wirst kaum eine ernsthafte Antwort bekommen, wenn du so ein flame post schreibst. Ne?
So, calm down. Btw. yes, there is some problems with being able to build ships (also the core ships) withouth having to need the techs if the techs are not available in the mod. But your attacks against the mod are still unnessecary harsh.
We'll try to be more vocal about the localization of our patches but yes, all our 'Final' patches are in english, then get sent to Paradox for translation.
As for the mod, the tech-tree change was ment to show users how they can fully change, but I can imagine the game getting confused if you've made ships using technologies that aren't in the mod. Anyways, the mod was really jsut an example of what can be done...when players make full mods they will probably be customizing the starbase and ship design files so this shouldn't be a problem.
But yeah, I wouldn't take any mod with a Smiling Hamburger as one of the races too seriously
There was one in Ascendancy.
Well, you couldn't really tell if it was smiling or not.
And if you could, would that indicate friendship or hostility in their minds?
Or nothing at all, because maybe they just react to chemical changes in their bodies.
But then, isn't that what we do?
If a tree falls in the forest, does the smiling hamburger ambassador hear it?
| Hey, it's a big galaxy, there could be a real race out there somewhere that resembles a smiling hamburger. There was one in Ascendancy. Well, you couldn't really tell if it was smiling or not. do you mean the Kambuchka? IMO they looked like a pile of lasangia.

1) the ability to threaten the AI.. i.e. move yer thing out of my system or else...
2) see #1
p.s.
see #1
And i know its only an expample mod. But seeing a bugged mod made by the developers of the game wont make anyone trying this himself.
I am kind of disappointed that the mod is not a full play experience, but after playing the campaign, not surprised.
I wish the original post had just said, "Why is there no German translation for the final patch?" I bet it would have got the exact same answer and not made us users look like jerks to Stardock.
(one of the races are hamburgers.).
Seriously?!
So, what happened to the translation?
Assumably, Paradox hasn't done it yet. Stardock doesn't have any translators of their own, and there's no reason to hold the patches back from the english-speaking majority while the text is localised for other languages.

What about the GERMAN TRANSLATION
Well, have you seen the following in the 1.2 change log
Pulls the data from the English folder and the translated strings from the localized folder, so that the Foreign Language versions will always have the most updated data without having to play the whole game in English.
If I understand correctly, this means that translation would concern only text, and no longer data
. In other words, only texts are searched in the translated files.Welcome Guest! Please take the time to register with us.
