FORUM BUG

"please post a message before submitting your article". I keep getting this and can't get out of it even trying new posts. The message post looks different (with rich text stuff on it), too and I can't get back to normal. I've rebooted, restarted my browser, cleared the cache and cookies, nothing. It happens when I create new threads, but not replying.

This forum won't even load on MSIE, just firefox. Netscape loads it but it freezes Netscape.

I made a new account thinking somebody messed my last one up because I asked questions about the game (the game is poorly documented) and still the same problem!!!!!!

Some slightly more descriptive text than 'It looks like the graphics of the N64' would be helpful.

If you're saying everything is all icons, you've probably been fiddling with your tactical view level slider. Set it somewhere in the middle.

Okay here's an example. I used to see no rich text controls and then suddenly I do

Also there were no tabs and this image part was below the top just scrolled down

And this is the error message I get

What URL are you using to access the forum? It appears that either you've somehow got a strange hybrid or stumbled across the under-development version of the board...

I'm not even talking to you, I was replying to the original poster.

But your forum bug is wierd too. It probably isn't much consolation that it's working fine for me.

I tried to post this update of screenshots and the entire forum FROZE! (my internet connection worked fine) and I could not view or post for hours. The only response I got was the server said, "The article requested does not exist."

Well, guess what they posted.

I recently tried and no dialogue box comes up but, it fails and says, "There was an error submitting your post. Please try again." in red right above the category part.

Create post gives me, "https://forums.galciv2.com/?g=newpost&forumid=274"

I access the forum off the main website. This post for instance is, "https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=274&AID=120328#931890"

Main forums page is https://forums.galciv2.com/

thatguy666,

Please try updating your drivers. Please check the NVidia site ( http://www.nvidia.com ) for driver downloads.

Although, he is using the the same driver version I am using, so I doubt that is the problem.
And if he is using Media Center as I am, they are the latest version.

More likely either he is talking about the zoomed out view or it is his MX video card. The MX's don't support many of the graphics features,

Ok... IIRC minimum requirements listed 512 min 1012 recommended RAM. And then increase page file to 2 gig, and problem should dissapear
