Save Game not Saving Game!

Doesn't Save game properly?

Alright so I go to save my game I click the Load/Save button and type in a save file for the game and press save and it somehow only takes 3-4 seconds to save the game?? strange because i am playing on a gigantic galaxy with lots of players and expect long saves.. When I go to check the saves file again it doesn't have my file I just saved there anymore...

as if it never saved a game with the title that i specified and it is frustrating that this happens and have to wait for an autosave checkpoint just to save my game...

do any of you have this problem...

It seems that Stardock have hit on a novel new way of decreasing save times...

Latest beta I assume?

I have the same issue... Autosave and quicksave work normally, but since installing the 1.2 patch, I can no longer save custom games.
