Descriptive library?

Typos and such came up in one of the other threads and got me thinking (usually a bad thing).

Since Stardock has a library area, would people be interested in being able to upload/download customized descriptions for events, anomalies, ship descriptions, etc? Stardock willing, of course.

For example, if you decided to play Evil in a game, you could swap descriptive directories so that all your notifications and such were written from "your" point of view.

Just a thought...

I like it. Why download? Based on your morality, the 'right' notifications would automatically pop-up. I remember in the os/2 ver, a female used to deliver the news. She was dressed as a pirate for evil.

The "library" (see the button at the top of this forum) has been with us since this forum was first introduced. It was used a couple of times to introduce new ships (new at the time) for us to use. One of the comments I remember from Stardock is that we will be able to submit alterations to the library and, once Stardock approves them (to prevent massive cheating) they can be downloaded into our libraries for inclusion into our games. So I think the structure for what you ask for is already there and working, but Stardock may still have some more work to do before it is fully functional.

Ensign Ted, yes, in the OS/2 version, "good" events were reported by a rather attractive blonde, while "evil" events were reported by a beautiful brunette with an eyepatch. I mention this, of course, only to educate those who were never fortunate enough to experience the original game ... :)
