How Do You Make Scrolling Text

Is there a built in way to make a single line of text scroll, like a marquee? What is the best way?

There USED to be a plug-in for this.. i have seen it in use on several widgets, but its not simple to setup in the widget (i mean if your planning on making your widget avail for downloading). Its simple to USE in DX.

There are "visual basic" ways to do this, and possible even JavaScript ways.
