If I'm understanding you right, which I am really uncertain of, you need to actually open Windowblinds. Easily done using your system tray...which I'm guessing is the "FREAKEN THING WERE ALL THE OPEN PRGRAMS GO" that you speak of.

You can double click it (it looks like a painter palet with a brush and a little window in front of it.) and it will open.

You can also "right click" the same System Tray Icon, and choose "Configure" Window Blinds.

Another option is go to your "Start menu" by clicking "Start"> "All Programs"> and find "Window Blinds" listed there. Then click on it.

From this point, choose a skin you like and make sure to click "apply the changes" when you are done. This should get you the results you seek.

One last option, when you download and "install" the Window Blind", a info bubble will pop up telling you that a new skin has been installed. If you click on this balloon, it will apply the newly downloaded skin.

assuming you have windowblinds the program installed:

right click the system tray icon, choose configuration - on the left is system information, click that and copy/paste the info that shows up.
