Strange Graphics changes

from GalCiv2 Forums
Whenever i load up the game the graphics are perfectly fine, but after a while the details on the ships just disappear for some reason. Anyone else had this?

This has happened to me also, just symbols for ships,planets,anomolies and such. The graphics have yet to return for me even after reload. I did a re-install even, and it didn't help which was odd.

Zarnik,
Try changing your "Tactical Map Zoom Level" option in the options screen. This changes the zoom level at which the ships and planets change to icons and symbols.

Please post your debug.err file. This file can be found in the same folder as galciv2.exe (usually c:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2 )
