How to upgrade ships in fleets

Does anybody know how to upgrade ships in fleets?

no way without breakign the fleet up that i have found. Unless you upgrade all ships of that class.

Ok, so how do I upgrade every ship of that class then?
I often have everything in fleets and without any movements left I can’t even break up the fleet.

Yep this one I have found to be a major pain - so much so that unless I strategically realy need to upgrade those ships I just don't bother , build new ones and decommmision the old ones....be great though if there was a way to upgrade the entire fleet..

its been said before, but just adding an "upgrade" button to the ship information screen would go a long way, click's would be manage fleet, information, upgrade, voila. if space is an issue.. well how many folks really use auto attack anyhow?

To upgrade your ships in your fleets, produce just one of those ships on one of your planets, then click on the upgrade button for that ship. Then check the 'upgrade all ships of this class' box underneath the picture, and voila you have upgraded all of those ships even those in the fleets, as llanelwy suggested as well.
