Cannot Download 1.1 Update

I have been frustrated by the recent update message posted on 4/25/06. The update description looks promising, but when I press the "download" buttone, I get a GalCiv2_110BonusPack_042506. This does not update my original downloaded game. I bought the collector's edition, and have a disk and serial number, but have not been able to figure out how to acquire the update.

I would appreciate assistance. Incidentally, the post mentioned Stardock as an alternate source of the update. I went to Stardock, but discovered that there is no update yet for GC2. It keeps asking me to update Window Blinds, but has no listing nor information about the 1.1 GC2 update.

Well I got 1.1 with the StarDock Central utility program. It can be had at this link:

Install it, and on the top of the list is Games. Click on it, then to the right of GalCiv2 is the update button for 1.1

Just download the file metnioned there and it'll install on top of what you've got.
