Deadlock after upgrading a survey vessel

I had several survey vessel, which where set to auto explore and auto survey. I upgraded them and for the new version i removed the survey module from the ships. The first ship which after the upgrade encountered an anomaly triggered a dialog box saying that only vessels with a survey module are able to explore anomalies. It was not possible to remove the dialog by pressing the done-button, because it reappered instantly everytime. The only solution was to kill galciv from the task-manager.

I was able to reproduce this and fix the problem. Thank you for reporting it to us. The fix will be included in our next update.

I ran into a similar problem in a game (a couple of updates ago) where one of my TRANSPORTS hit an anomaly and triggered the dialog box saying that only vessels with a survey module was able to explore anomalies. Most likely this was caused by not checking through code that the dialog had been displayed before trying to move onto the anomaly again. In other words an infinate loop. I'll be the fix that was made will fix both issues.
