Corrupt Installation File

I get the same error message. Tried multiple times. Wrote to "support" and what? They send an email telling me to check Forums.
I check Forums find other people have the same problem but no answer.

The game is going back to the store tomorrow.

I have the same problem. Is there a reason why I can't find / there isn't an answer? I tried to install it in safe mode and got the same thing, I'm getting pissed.

There is another thread about install issues at the moment, as well. One person said they had to return it twice before they could get a good set of media. From the several other times I have read similar things recently, it looks like there are a bunch of bad discs floating around. So you could either take it back and exchange it for a new copy, or you could register with Stardock and download it directly.

Hmmm, interesting. Last one of these that came up, I suggested installing the game while in safe mode (which is what I did when I had this problem, and it worked). But you say that's not helping you?

Bleh. No idea. Good luck. (Though naturally you could just download it if you have the internet availability to do any more than some simple forum use.)

going to exchange it right now, we'll see if it happens again.

Alright, got the new one, got rid of the old one, and I finally got disk 2 to work note to anyone else who has this problem, just go exchange it for another copy, the chances of it happening twice are slim to none I'm sure.
