Did you just upgrade to 1.1 and trying to use maybe a 1.0x Version save?

RealTech Audio Drivers are from 2004? I know those built in Audio Devices on mother boards don't get upgraded much. But its worth a try to visit Either the PC manufacturer to see if your MB has Updates. Or if you built it yourself go to the MB Manufacturer and See if they have Updates. Worth a try.

I just Rebuilt My comp From and
AMD Barton 2500
1 Gig Ram
6600GT

With hardly any crashes myself

To a AMD64 3500
2 GiG Ram
7600GT

And I had 3 crashed My First game.... So who knows.

Are you setting your game resolution to match your monitor settings. That caused me a problem early on but once I matched them I have had no problems with crashes on full screen or in a window

computer was only built last year mate re audio drivers so hoping that isnt it
will check the game res matches monitor settings

have tried matching the res: no joy

have sent the smart Exception file report to Stardock so maybe they can help-will be mighty pissed if I cant get that save game back: it was my finest hour playing Gigantic Galaxy with all 9 Civs and AI on challenging and was holding my own
