Please post your debug.err.

Try searching for "resolution" in the forum search.

Hope that helps

Debug.err is a file located in the folder where you installed your game. Open it with notepad, and copy the contents and paste them here in a post.

sorry and thanks

I notice that your computer screen resolution is 1024x768 and you have the game set to 1600x1024. Try resetting the game resolution to match your 1024x768 and if that doesn't work try setting the game to run in a window (deselect full screen option) and keep the resolution on 1024x768

ok i have done both and
1 it didn't go into a window mode

2 the game is still not doing more than giving me half the screen

here is the new debug

Update the game to the 1.0x version.

Update your video drivers - they are two years old.

Increase your page file size to 1GB minimum. The game requieres a 1GB page file to run.
http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.php
or
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308417#E0VB0ACAAA

I'd recommend more RAM - not for the game per se, but XP itself will run much much better on ay least1GB of RAM.

Well 2 things. 1) Update your video drivers and 2) Try increasing your page file to 2 GB

EDIT: Beat by Oldstatesman. A more complete answer too
