Anyway to remove it / change the color? I am writing about the blue nebula that is used as the back drop.

You can adjust it in the Game Options menu.

If you are artistic and have something like Photoshop you can edit them/make new ones.

They are stored in your > GalCiv2 > Gfx folder

But as Oldstatesman said, you can disable it in the Options menu if you really no likey.

The better question is, how do you make it STAY gone, once you've disabled it? It seems to come back every so often and I have to restart.....
