MENU SCREENS PROBLEM

I have a problem with the screens in the game. I don't know whether this one has been mentioned already, but i haven=t found it so far. I compared the screenshots on the net and the screens I have, and I noticed, that my buttons are not displayed correctly. Instead of the colored buttons, i only get the button name, like 'buy', 'upgrade' etc. This is in itself not such a grave problem. But most of the bars are missing as well, leading to invisbility of some of them. For example, the bar with which to in or decrease taxes is not displayed and I have to guess where it is to change tax rates. Also, in the create ship design menu, the rotate ship buttons are non/existant. I have the german version fo the game. What coulb possibly be the problem?

A debug.err would help.

Or a Dxdiag report.

I find it hilarious on this forum so many wannabe programmers ask for the err log and dxdiag thinking it will show the have all to end all problem. Forum NAZI love demanding an err log, then they fall off the face of the earth when it comes to finding a solution. Then of course there is the answer to 95% of all problems, "you need to update your drivers". lol It's just too damn funny. Stardock has been dealing with my problem for three weeks now and still don't have the answer to this similar problem. I have come to the conclusion I wasted my money. It's ok because I learned a lesson, don't buy from this company because they rush their product to the shelves. I have to give major acknowledgment to Mike Haber at Stardock for being so patient and trying to fix the problem. he unfortunately was unable to fix it so it of course was sent to the programmers................ well we all know how that turned out. Cari, maybe one day in your copious free time you could take a peek at my problem and not shove me off telling me to update yet another aspect of my machine that every other game seems to work on. Wait, I have it! I'll go buy another computer and load that bad boy up on it then I'll tell ya all how it went.
