You need to open port 30564 on the secondary machine.

And allow multipl.exe to access the network on the primary and multisrv32 (or 64 on 64 bit OSes) to access the network on the secondary.

I had the same question too, and the answer regarding the port is easily accessible on the site itself. Has Stardock considered a how-to on the topic? The program claims to be easy enough for novice users to set up, but even novice users download 3rd party firewalls. I'd be grateful (and judging from my Web search, many others would be as well) for a more detailed explanation.

I have Norton I.S. 2007, and I am running Vista Ultimate on my Primary, and XP Pro on my secondary and it worked the first time.

Open Norton I.S., and at the top you'll have two tabs, open the one on the right, "Norton Internet Security", then open the "settings" tab. Next, scroll down to "Additional options", click on "Internet Security and Firewall Options", a new window will open, and on the left, under "Personal Firewall" click on, "Program Control", scroll down and you should see both, "Multipl" and "MultiSrv32", then change both Accesses to "ALLOW". That is all I did and it worked for me. Now on my secondary XP Pro Machine I have Zonealarm, and it configured automaticly using the wizard. Install and run the wizard on the "Secondary Machine" first, then during the reboot, install and run the wizard on the "Primary Machine", then reboot. I hope this was somewhat of some help.

Good luck.
