maximizing screen problem

please help!

hi, the game worked fine when i first played it but after a few plays when i turned it on again

the game will not run in its usually maximized mode and it will only run as a window and i can't click on anything when the menu is loaded, so I cant play at all anymore! i tried reinstalling but it didnt work!

can someone tell me how to fix this!??

I had a problem with video too, I went to my documents\my games\galciv2 and renamed prefs.ini to prefs.old (just to keep a copy if it doesnt work), I launched the game and it worked fine again.

oh so you mean i just have to do that? change the ending to .old and it would work ??
