taskbar and wallpapers

my taskbar is translucent and is located at the top of my screen. and im now using a 1028 x 1024 wallpaper. I just noticed that my wallpaper does not stretch out behind the taskbar therefor the image behind the taskbar is duplicated under it. i would have to unlock the taskbar for the wallpaper to move upwards. i have wb5 and desktopX but i never use its wallpeper features im using windows to change my wallpaper.

I can't be absolutely certain, but I think "locking" the Taskbar locks the image, too, so unlocking & re-locking would probably be the only way to refresh the image "underneath" the Taskbar. I've found that, when using a vertical Taskbar, I have to unlock it every time before changing skins, otherwise all sorts of flickering wackiness will occur with the System Tray and the right-click Taskbar context menu won't open. Doesn't happen when the bar is unlocked.

thats the quickest solution so far but i just wish i automatically stretches out so i wont have to unlock and lock.
