The Apogee Icon Suite!

IT'S HERE! IT'S UPDATED! IT'S INCREDIBLE!

https://www.stardock.com/products/themes/apogee/

Famed icon artist Paul Boyer (Mormegil) has completed his latest icon masterpiece. And holy cow is the final version incredible!

The Apogee premium icon suite includes over 200 unique icons in 15 different color variations.  Each icon supports every major (and minor) icon size from 16x16 all the way up to 256x256.

The attention to detail on each icon is beyond compare.  With native support for the new Windows Vista icon format, Apogee will not only work great on your Windows XP system today but it'll be ready for Windows Vista as well.  Each icon has also been designed so that it looks good at different resolutions. At 256x256, the icons are good enough to be used as clip-art (for private use) and yet still are recognizable and crisp at 16x16.

The Apogee suite is only $9.95 for new users. Object Desktop users can get it for $8.95.  Considering the sheer amount of content you get, this is probably the best skinning/theme/icon deal that's ever been released.

As good as the screenshot looks, they're even better once applied to your system.

Absolutely brilliant. Seriously Paul, these are fantastic. I have been using them constantly for a couple of months now, and don't see myself changing any time soon.

Paul even made 'some' walls fitting the collection : https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?LibID=8&SkinID=27220

Now I feel like a little kid at xmas.

The packs should all be correct, if you find anthing missmached please let me know and I will sort them out.

I have to first say that when I got the Apogee icon suite I thought they were the best icons I have seen, but they where not as scrip and clear as you’re others, but I see now that it was because the Apogee Icon Suite was not finished, LOL.

I have now acquired the update and I am totally in awe of how completely awesome theses icons are. The resolutions are now just as good as all of your other Icons, and you give so much for the price, 15 different colors, all the resolutions one could every need, and the most complete pack of icons any where, Great work mormegil! Or should I say, MR. MORMEGIL. LOL

I have a question that I just have to ask though, because I am a Corel Draw user my self (not even close to your caliber of course) but, I just have to know, DID YOU COMPLETLEY CREATE EACH PART OF EVERY ONE OF THE ICONS WITH COREL DRAW ONLY?

If you did, that is amazing! And I see just how much I need to learn, (DO YOU TEACH?) LOL! I’m for real though I would pay to learn properly.

It is truly a cool thing to have someone that you can really see loves what they do to such a degree, that you can see that love displayed in their work.

Peace

You can either obtain the update by going into Stardock Central...or by going to Stardock Support and send your email (the one you used to purchase the original with), then you'll get an email reply with a download link.

Considering the sheer amount of content you get, this is probably the best skinning/theme/icon deal that's ever been released.

No other comment needed, other than to say I am sorry for becoming a bit depressed while waiting for the updated pack.

Mormegil is (IMHO) the best icon artist around.

firstlight,

Paul (Mormegil) treated all of us to a great tutorial which walks you through the creation of a full set of icons (at the time ) using CorelDRAW. You can start here http://mormegil.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=83&AID=64104

If you go to his site here at WC (under the "Sites" tab), you will also see a link to the "CorelDRAW for skinners" videos which are a part of the wonderful tutorial.

Have fun with it, I know I am.

Paul,

The "Denim" Control Panel (icon #7) is missing the 128x128 size.

Just happened across it while exporting as ".png" for my dock.

Never mind I figured it out -- I got the update from Stardock. Wow lots of great icons. Paul you do fabulous work!!! Each set is better than the last!! Can I make a request -- can you make an icon for the Cursor XP application? That is the only one that is missing that I use a lot!! Thanks again! Definately worth the wait!
