Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords, the demo is nearly ready to go out.

It will be available at noon EST on March 30th at Gamespot!

Another note about the demo: A lot of time was put into having the demo size be relatively small.  While the full game is 1.5 GB in size, we managed to bring the demo size down to less than 200MB (I think it's around 150MB).  And the demo allows players to play in randomly generated galaxies.  Obviously there's less music and video and ship parts, but it still gives a good taste of what the game is like.

Very nice!
But I found a little bug with shipdesign. the Human smallest ship seems to have a small bug on the wing on the back (tail). if you place another "wing" item there on both sides the one on the left is screwed up and looks inside the ship.

But its very good so far. Hope there will be a German version too.

Good job DEV Team putting the demo together and making it have such a small footprint. I am shocked how many sites now support this great game.

Civfanatics is the biggest surprise, they only support civ series nothing else and in my opinion that is what he should stick with.
