Game Crashes Before Loading

Now, I am sure that this has already been answered, but I can't seem to find a thread in which someone has the same issue:

After the game has gotten set up, and starts the loading screen for a new game, my computer completely crashes, blue screen of death and all. It states that the program has some issue with the drivers, and I must shut off my computer.

If anyone has a solution, I am using a Toshiba Satellite with a ATI video card. My specs are good enough to run the game, so i am not exactly sure what the issue is, especially since i don't think there are any new drivers for my computer, my laptop, or the game (i believe i have downloaded 1.1)

1.1 is a beta right now, is unsupported, and you should be prepared for it to crash as it is a beta...

*When you need help with a crash/glitch, please use notepad to post your entire debug.err file from your galciv2 folder.

Now for your problem; BSOD with driver problem and ATI mobile card.

-If you can't get a more recent driver from ATI, try the omega drivers from this Link

-There are several threads already on how to revert back to the supported (and stable) 1.0X patch.

Yes, but it appears you left off the first half of the debug report. Just copy and paste the entire thing, not just the lines that say "Debug Message:" The beginning 50 lines or so are really important too. I'll check back later after dinner for the rest.
