Weird loading times for saves

Well the title pretty much says it all. But to further clarify Some of the earlier campaign saves i have load pretty fast. First I thought maybe its because the map sizes are small or whatever...but it appears even scenarios with gigantic maps laod up pretty fast. That being said. The load times now are insane...I'm playing deception currently and the load times are sometimes in excess of 10 to 15 mins...Also...I know a debug.err thing would help here but uh I don't know how...so help? Thank you

Concerning the Debug.err: Go to your root game directory (probably c:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2) and open the debug.err file. Just copy and paste the text from there into here

COncerning the Load Times: Did the load times for ALL games get long, or jsut for deception? Was this after you've updated to a new version (perhaps the 1.1 beta). And can you send the save game file to [email protected] so we can see what would be wrong? Thanks!

well what happened is that as the campaign progressed the loading times got longer...The first three missions loaded pretty fast...then it got slower and slower until i think it peaks at deception (I dont know maybe itll get worse in the later missions) and yeah this continued even after I updated the game to 1.1....Where exactly are the save files located? I will get right on sending the debug.err file as well as the problem save file...Thanks for the help again
