No textures

For some reason I do not have any textures at all.

Planetes are represented as an circle, no matter how far I zoom in. Ships look really ugly too with no textures on them.

I am curios if I have done something that I was not supposed to. I purchased the german version, installed it and went to apply the 1.1 Beta-Patch. I had been warned, that the patch is only for the english version but it was applied anyway and changed the game to english which i planned to do anyways.

I'll try updating my graphics drivers and see if that works. If not, I'll be right back here and look what answer I might've gotten.

Try setting Windows to English in regional settings. Also there is an option for 'tactical zoom level' or something like that in one of the options screens. Assuming your drivers are up to date, it is probably one of those two things above.
