Glitches since v1.1 beta

A hang and a data error

I’ve noticed two problems with the v1.1 beta, and they may be related.

First, after clicking "Turn" while zoomed out to get a wide view of my burgeoning empire, the button disappears and doesn’t come back. I assume this may have to do with trying to process too many objects in the field of view, but I’m just guessing. Initially, I’d get around this by doing a "Quick Save", quitting, and then loading the save. Later I learned to avoid it by making sure I was zoomed in before clicking the Turn button.

The second issue is that I was unable to upgrade ships I had previously defined in a different game — same race, same style of ships. Whenever trying to add any component to the bare hull + jewelry combo that appears in the editor, a notification would pop up telling me there’s no more room. I can guess this may have to do with bad saved games connected to the first problem’s initial workaround, but I’m by no means sure.

Okay, now the "Turn" button disappears after clicking and won't re-appear no matter the level of zoom.

Just an FYI!

I get the turn button going missing if I am messing around with fleets. If I have ships join up in a fleet that already has a waypoint set, then the button goes missing. Simply select all of your fleets one at a time and have them move 1 space manually. That should fix the turn button.

As for v1.1beta issues, I am getting CTD's now, the audio volume knobs seem to only work sporadiccaly, and rotating some items on the ship screen either causes the item to float away from the ship, or it causes some other minor graphical glitch. I'd go into more detail, but it's only a beta.

Update: I’m consistently unable to upgrade ships created in previous games. I have to recreate each design from scratch for each game. (I hope this gets fixed pretty quickly.)
