Map editor sorely needed:
I would love to create custom starting solar systems (start with 4 planets. each with a rating of 30- uber battles)
It would be great to place where all civilizations start, with how many planets, with what technologies (for example, set a "bronze age" for intro technologies, any buildings on planet
the locations of resources would be great, plus placing starting trade routes or space stations
another great idea would be placing asteroids to break up a map
also, it would be cool to make custom maps and configurations- place them exactly where I want, like having one core system each and having us all slug it out. Also, it would be cool creating allied maps, with evil on one side and good on the other.
Is a map editor coming any time soon?
