Game CRASHES!

Please help me... ):

I played few games, in many of them i didn't bother to play and finish those games, but i started one on a gigantic map, with many enemies, and wanted to play this one to the end. i played few hours and the the game crashed. i reloaded it, and after the same amount of turns it crashed again, i tried reloading a few more times but it stilll kept crashing, i was pretty sure its a corrupt save and started a new one(it was different so its not map configuration problems..) i played a few more hours on the new one, and about after the same amount of turns it started crashing again.. please help!!11!!1!1 The fact i cant finish the game is SOO ANNOYING!! i spent about 3 hours each gigantic game!! also: it seems to happen after a specific amount of turns because after each reload i need to spend the same amount of turns untill the game crashed.
COMP SPECS: Radeon X800 GTO, AMD 64 3000+, 1024MB DDR 400, A8N-E motherboard(ASUS)

Updating to the latest patch and then running an old save game may not be workable. Also, can you post your debug info?

After I installed the patch, i started a new game, and it crashed the same way. it did the same thing with the save when i tried it later, whats even more frustrating with this crash is that it happens in a late stage of the game.. about the "debug info": im not sure what it is. another thing: the in-game crash date is different with each game, but a game always crashes on the same date : here are two dates(DD/MM/YYYY): when i change a turn between: 01/08/2229 and 08/08/2229, and between 22/02/2229 and 29/02/2229.

Have you made sure the frame rate throttle option is selected in the options screen?

My debug info is in the following folder, not sure if this is the default or not:

C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2

Also the framerate throttling was added in the more recent patch, so assuming you are running the newest version of the game.... From the main menu select options, then video, then make sure the box for "throttle frame rate" is checked.
