Return to Default Question

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to return the various races to their default settings.

Having fiddled around with the Yor, for instance, their +100 Loyalty bonus is gone and cannot be repurchased. In addition, I think I'd like to return the Appearance settings back to default, for the ships and interface, but am not quite sure how to go about this.

Any help would be keenly appreciated.

Go to My Documents/My Games/GalCiv2 and delete the "raceconfig..." files.

Is there a similar method to returning the galaxy setup settings back to the default?

thats interesting....
will it be safe to delete the ships files aswell ?
to stop the ghosts of ships from past games poping up and annoying me ?
