Bug (maybe): Tiny hulls don't get starbase defense bonuses

I'm not sure if this is a 'feature' or not (is there somewhere I can find the feature list?), but I'm noticing my tiny ships (Star Fury) aren't benefiting from the starbase's Ship Assist defensive abilities. The larger ships, however, are. Ship Assist offensive abilities seem to work fine. Also, every time I try to post to this forum it drops the post into the main forum and I have to edit to manually move the post to the Bug Reports forum.

I may be wrong about this, but I think I read that ships need at least _some_ defensive ability to get a starbase bonus. If this is the case, the Star Fury -- which has a 0 defense rating -- would not qualify for starbase benefits.

scrotty is correct.

Your ship has to have at least 1 defensive component in order for the starbase defense assist to be applied.
Likewise, your ship has to have at least 1 weapon for any starbase weapon assist to be applied.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but you can get some defense from the appropriate modules. I think the name was defensive fields and it added one defense to PD, shields and armour. This was inspite of the fact that my ships only had armour.

I'm afraid I didn't have any ships with no defense so I don't know if it affects them.
