Odd Invasion-population bug

I invaded a planet with 4500 troops. The enemy had 22000-23000 people on it. I used information warfare and managed to scrape in a with with 17 men left standing - however - the population on my newly conquored world of Sauron II reads 4294964.00b - with a listed income of 29795. Odd. The minimap with the population toggle on looks hillarious, since the huge galaxy suddenly became like 65% my color heh.

As a follow up to this, after the turn rolled over the population got chopped down to the planet's max. sustainable pop.

I believe this issue is resolved in 1.0X: it's mentioned in the changelog. I've had problems with this as well.

Nope, I downloaded 1.0X tonight and then rebooted - I didn't get this ever until just tonight.

Thats a shame. The changelog says

' “Invasion Cheese” effect removed where planet populations after the invasion were incorrect. '

So I guess the problem isn't resolved. I'm using 1.0X6 atm, and it's only happened once. I'm more worried about the disappearing mouse cursor issue.

I sent a savegame of this to brad, i'm sure he's working on it! So SD is aware of the problem.

I think it's only with information warfare, invade with 1000M men, enemy have population of 4000M; information warrfare gets you 400M people, so it's 1400VS3600; then you win by and have 100 people left and BAM; you have one million billion people! I loaded the game, and it happened again and again and again... had to use mass drivers...
