It's only a minor "bug". I am running GalCiv II on my laptop and with a resolution of 1280x800. I haven't seen any interface errors so far. Nice job! GalCiv II one of the few games that does not screw up its GUI on my laptop! 
But: When I watch the a tutorial video in fullscreen mode, it doesn't resize correctly. That means, it is 1280x1024, I guess. It would be nice if it would be 1xxx:800 instead (so that it maintains its aspect ratio and doesn't get distorted).
It's not as if this bug is really annoying. A fix would make the game... "more perfect".
