Can you do espionage on minor races?

The minor race screen always says I need to allocate more resources to find out more about any minor race I can relate to. Ok, but how do I do that? Is there a way? If so, I don't see it.

There is not a way currently. I have no idea if it is planned for the future or not. I know part of the info about the minors says you should do more espionage on them.

What is espionage? Spying. If you like knowing all about the enemies and getting the techs they know, then it is worth spending money on.

Espionnage allows you to spy and so know more about your enemies. Goes to as far as knowing evry single one of their stats, starbases modules and planets. (can even make u learn a tech they researched for free (I think...))

How can you see their stats when there is no bar for you to see it?

You can see the stats when you are reviewing the race on the Foreign Policy Screen.

Minor races not currently affected by influence the way it was in GCI.
