Collector's Edition / debug info

Hello,

I only recently installed GalCiv 2 and started playing it. No opinion yet since I haven't been able to doso for long, but it looks promising.

However, a few glitches on which I would either have comments, or share.

I bought the European Collector Edtion version through Paradox. I registered my CE serial, then got another one for Stardock exchange. So far so good...except I never received the email with this number. Same goes for my account here, I never received a confirmation email. But that was sorted out very quickly by someone from Stardock after an email from me, so everything's fine.
The first strange thing is that the number I got from Stardock in exchange from my CE Paradox one can only be entered in the standard serial number registration box, NOT the Collector Edition. In fact, if I try to do that, it says "Invalid Collectors Edition serial number".

Then, I went to download the 1.0D update, and installed it fine. I also downloaded the "enable collector's edition content" file and ran it. I then went to the link to "Collectors Edition Downloads" on the website. I found it strange that I was brought to the same page as if I chose to download the "Galactic Civilizations Retail update to 1.0X". Not sure if this is normal ?

Anyway, how do I know if I really got any Collector's Edition content ? Should it be a separate download or is that part of the 1.0D update and activated with the "enable CE" patch I downloaded ? Is there anything in the game which could quickly tell me I got the additional content ?

Regarding the game, the first I tried to launch it it got stucked when trying to go fullscreen right at the start. I had Catalysts 5.3 (I believe) from 12/2005. I upgraded to the latest (6.2) and everything went fine.

I also watched the debug file and found strange things (I can run the game fine now though):

Debug Message: Version v1.0D-1 Digital: Bonus Pack last updated on: Fri Feb 24 12:35:33 2006
Debug Message: Could not find a TGN Serial No.

No TGN serial ? So ?

I can assume those files are created when saving custom things, but what about the DEBUG ERROR lines ?

Thanks
