I was trading techs with drengin, and just pressed the trade-button.

I have been slacking off on my beta testing duties.. :) But am usually tired after a hard days work and my brain is too tired to play games... :VOMIT:

I was looking around to see if anyone might have see a problem where you press the dipomacy button and you get a crash to desktop. This seems like maybe a simmilar case. I had it happen before and I couldn't remember exactly what I was doing to lead up to it. I am not sure if this is the same problem Fredrik encountered or not but it sounds like it could be.

I think I found one reason for this type of crash. I was trading previouly with a minor race. Then I went and took over there only planet, hence eliminating that race. So when I press the diplomacy button again it crashes. I was able to reproduce this so if anyone is interested I should have the saved game if I can still remember which one it is. :) If I do the same test, but make sure I change to a different race before I close the screen, then after I destroy that race it won't crash after opening the diplomacy again. Anyhow it is probably trying to point to something from the old race that doesn't exist anymore and crashes. Hopefuly, this isn't old news, but I hope it helps. :notsure:

I have had a similar problem, in fact the last three games
ended abruptly because of a Crash to destop. Two cases occured when I attacked a minor race, the other seems to be related to Diplomacy issues., Thes three crashes were
caught by Smart Exception. I have had others that were not, of similar type when they crashed.

Gets a little frustrating, ecpecially when you can not go back to the game, because it crashes during loading the
Prevoius or a saved game. :VOMIT:
