Yet more BUGs

More bugs and improvement ideas:

- when upgrading a ship design and choosing to replace the design it's deleted from the available projects list, but is not deleted from the 'Quick Build' list, where I see many versions of the same project, that was upgraded over time

- planet tiles graphics got mixed up after save & load game (I have the game saved and can provide it).

- Galactic Privateer project didn't prevent pirates to destroy my freighter.

- planets with not sufficient food supply autodecrease population to allowed max. in 1 turn; would be better if this process happens slower and is connected with decreased approval for the planet when it's overcrowded.

- there is no option to improve a starship in your own starport (at least I didn't find it), hence improving always is handled by external company and costs a lot of money...

- ships get HP bonus when gaining experience level, which is not really logical. Having experienced crew could in my oppinion affect ship attack and defense by some extra bonuses (maybe also speed at every 5th level); and BTW even if the HP increase is in place it would be better to only improve max HP not the actuall HP. I've seen ships gaining experience and HP in each fight making them more and more powerful quite quickly...

- 'Virtual Reality Center' improvement only gives 40% morale bonus while its precursor 'Zero G Sports Arena' gives 55%

- Galactic parlament resolution to give constructors base attack values more than 0 had no effect in my game - they were still built with 0/0/0...

I've noticed this bug too. Also I think obsoleted designs show up in the upgrade ship list.

This would be a nice improvement to the game. I've lost 1-2 thousand troops after I've taking a planet due to starvation.

Changing the game to allow you to use your starport to upgrade an orbiting ship? Hmm, I don't really see a need for this. Trying to choose your ship upgrades wisely and managing your money are important to the game.

Currently, you can have your fleets plink freighters and rack up the exp. I think it would be better if killing ships with no attack or defense rating did not grant crew experience. The HP bonus is fine compared to having exp improve a ships attack or defense. This would be even more imbalancing.

Well, your population can't eat, they are starving and you are supposing they will still pay taxes? (pop = taxpayers)

Why? this mean that they are harder to die.

I fear having attack or defense increasing (on which kind BTW) may lead to a greater exploit than raising HP.

I also noticed the Virtual Reality Centers give less morale bonus than the Zero G. And it isn't just the stat listing, it actually decreases the morale bonus from buildings when you upgrade the from the Zero G.

I'm still not convinced for the issue with HP bonuses. It just doesn't make sense to me. The crew gain experience and what? Do the crew members attach themselves to the ship structure to make it harder? I would rather say they learn how to use their weapons, shields, even engine effectivelly. Unbalancing the game depends rather on the size of this bonuses. If it's just for example 5% of the ship attack value for for each level, then I don't know how you can find it 'unbalancing'. You would need 10 levels to get 50% increase, which I think is OK. It could even be 2% if 5 is too much...
And BTW one of my ships on 9th level tripled his HP points, isn't it too much?

Why not? Starport is a facility where ships part are built, they are next lunched to the orbit and the ship is assembled, why we cannot upgrade already orbiting ships by replacing some modules? It seems logical to me...

Yeah in my last game I played every ten turns I was given a Pre Cursor Ranger. (had the lucky trait) which was not bad since I needed them to survive. But one one of my Rangers had 130 hit points (started at 50 I think) another one was around 110.
