Planet naming

This could be a bug, but when you rename a planet, the moment you type anything, the name disappears.
It would be nice if it was just normal, editable text (I like to keep the star name when I rename planets)

I would think that's a feature. Like if you rename a file in windows: You click on the filename and everything get's selected. If you then start typing without further clicking on the text it's the same as in the in-game situation you described.

But nothing is selected... Actually, in GalCiv, you can't select Text at all, anywhere. You can't place a insertion point either, which can be annoying, especially in the Ship Builder where I often want to insert stuff at the end (ie. changing laser III to laser IV) , but the insertion point is always at the beginning, thus i name my ship reversed (ie. II laser). Another issue with the naming of ships is that it does not select everything when you make a new ship (instead of renaming one), because most of the time i don't want to name my ship "new ship design", but something else.

You can use the arrow keys to move the insertion point to the end.

You can use the arrow keys in the planet naming window too, but the moment you type something it all goes away... if it didnt that would probably be fine for now, as it is it's just a bit annoying
