Bug with Mouse Pointer?

Occasionally the pointer freezes though the mouse itself is still working

Hi all

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but i did a search and nothing came up.

I have had a problem in that occasionally (usually after playing for 30 mins or more) where the mouse pointer freezes. The mouse is still working but but you can't see the pointer at all.

This happened pre and post the patch.
The problem persists when back in Windows.
The mouse is a Logitecg MX500 with the 9.79 mouse driver (USB)
OS = WinXP (32 bit version)
AMD A64 3000+
PCIe Geforce 6600GT

Any idea if this is a bug or just my setup?

It's a bug with some Nvidia 6xxx graphic cards. A workaround for this is to enable "Hardware mouse cursor" in the Options menu.
