Installing Windowblinds on a Multiple accounts PC

How do you do that?

Can anyone tell me how to install Windowblinds on a PC with multiple accounts? I can only install it on one account, since the software doesn't offer you the option of whether installing it only for yourself or for all users. I'm using a Dell 3000+ with Windows XP Home Edition. Thank you.

All I did was install it through the SDC browser and everything shows up on all accounts. I believe the only option (hence no option) is everybody gets to play.

I always have problems installing Object Desktop products, and let them be run by ordinary users. My scenario:

I run the Stardock Controller as Administrator, which installs the product. Shortcuts are created in %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Object Desktop\

Thank you guys for your help. It goes a bit too deep for me but I spent some time thinking about a strategy and I did the following:
I copied a Windowblinds shortcut to my desktop (admin rights) and then I copied it again to the other users' desktop (using Windows Explorer). And guess what! It's working! Once I switched to the other user (limited rights), I just had to double-click on the Windowblinds shortcut and the configuration window appeared to me. From there I could install any skin I wanted.
As you can understand, I'm not a computer wizz but I hope I did the right thing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem.  I get the following message.....

WindowBlinds is missing a corre dll file (WBLIND.DLL) Please Reinstall WindowBlinds.

I have the file in it's directory and everything works from my login.  When I login on my wife's account I get the above message.  I tried the permissions settings and added her with full permissions and still no luck.  I also tried making a shortcut on my desktop and copying it to hers, still no luck.

This is very frustrating.  I have reinstalled this program a couple times and set the permissions, but I still cannot get it to run from my wife's login.

If WindowBlinds gives that message then either the installed path for her login is wrong, or you have no permissions to access those files.

I have changed her permissions for the whole stardock folder and the child permissions with no effect.  How do I alter the install path?  I have tried reinstalling many times.  Can I edit the reg somehow?

I continue to have a similar problem. Object desktop programs work fine for me, but when my wife, who also has administative permissions, tries to access windowblinds or desktopX, she gets the following error message---Windows cannot access the specified devise, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. This has occured ever since about windowblinds 4.5.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.
