Per-Pixel Alpha Blending

Before I buy windowblinds, how do I know whether or not my machine supports per-pixel alpha blending?

you have two solutions...

1. download shareware and in the WB configuration go to System Info... it should say name of your video card and wether PPAB is supported or not.

2. ask guys like Night Train

Ah, ok, I didn't even know what graphics card I had until this moment. Well, it says it supports per-pixel borders. But I just did a search on the Geforce fx5200, and an old post in here came up about how per-pixel alpha blending isn't so hot for the 5200? Oh, and I'm on XP, gig of RAM, pentium 4, 3Ghz

your computer supports PPAB and it will work as if it would on any other PPAB supporting machine. now wether its hot or not it's up to you. to me, all PPAB-ed apps look really good.
i have ATI Radeon 9250, 768MB RAM and it works beautifully, i just now installed the card. i had WB5 before and have to say it was a great buy with or without PPAB.

Ok, good to know. I really want to have the titlebars on my windows translucent, and the PPAB thing seems to be the key. Thanks!

PPAB is the key to translucenty but translucenty is not necessaraly the main key to buy windowblinds. along with PPAB you will get awesome other features. have fun

Oh, one last Q. When I buy it, is it a paid download thing, or does it have to come in the mail?

edit - nevermind, just realized it's in their FAQ
