Installation woes

Is anyone else having trouble installing the Tutorials.multimedia etc?

What sort of difficulties, Phil? What server are you on in SDC? Not that it should matter, as all the module downloads redirect.

I am also having troubles with installing but with the movies it extracts the instalation files alright but when it gets to 21% of extracting the already downloaded files i get an error mesage here is the instalation log -Downloaded: 1032994 : 01/28/2006 02:29
-Expected: 1032994 : 01/27/2006 18:12
Extract: C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\sdcentral\Mod_Movies\Movies\Techs\wormhole10.bik_ 0 | Deleted File

Result: Installation failed (27)

When i try and play the tutorials i get sent back to stardock central

Hmm, sounds like your XML data might be out of date.  Try refreshing it by going to:

Tools -> Settings
Select Internet and click on the "Refresh XML Data" button.

After your XML data has been refreshed then try to download and install again.

Hi I changed the server and refreshed the XML data.
It did fail twice more on 2 seperate occasions,however I have now completed the download. I can only assume its pressure on the servers is causing errors with the data.
