Double precursor event to same race

In my last game the Altarians had the precursor event that raised the planet to level 35 and then couple turns later the same event to same race.When I checked the pq couple turns later it was 73.It didn't show up as anomalous when I finally won game, but was wondering if anyone else seen this.

dang if that didn't happen to me today. I couldn't find the planets and soon abandoned the game as unplayable. Interesting!

I've seen this, lucky for me it was too late for them!

I've also had the one where it increases pq by 11 in 2 sectors surrounding a planet, lucky for me I was on the border with the aliens who found it and won out on the new land grab that ensured.

I may have had a similar sort of weirdness in my last game. The Precursor event supposedly boosted PQ by +5 in all sectors adjacent to the Arcean's second planet in sector 0-0. However, instead of a PQ boost, in the affected sectors, 2 new planets showed up. One in sector 1-2, one in sector 1-3, both previously empty. I probably wouldn't have noticed them, but it happened in a small galaxy. It was a bit of a shock to find the Arceans and Torians each with a class 20+ planet in a previously empty sector. There were a bunch of other little bits of weirdness during the game that I now wish I'd written down.

I remember getting a double Arnor planet thing in my own game. One my industrial planet first discovered that it was actually the old planet Arnor. Fine. Bu then Earth also discovers it's Arnor. Neat eh?
