I returned to the game after Beta 10 was released and would just like to say I enjoyed the additional "Corporations are People" tutorial as it gives an intro to the colony and how it relates to the game's market system. It is nice to be introduced to these concepts for those people who jump into skirmish without having played the campaign.
It also helped me understand the solution to the chicken and egg conundrum I discussed with duelking3000 in reply #29 & #30 of my 'Fundamental Critiques and Suggestions for the Game' post. (https://forums.offworldgame.com/475313/page/1/#replies)
One thing I would like to suggest is making the values shown on the info-cards displayed when one hovers the mouse over a building more distinctive (the power and fuel consumed in red and the market value of the output in green). My computer monitor is older and colors don't 'pop out' as much, so I sometimes find myself having to squint or lean in closer to read these numbers. Perhaps a brighter shade of color or a larger font would help.
The following kind of relates to what I say in my reply below. When these values are greyed out when the building is turned off, it becomes even more difficult to read them to determine whether I want to turn the building back on or buy the resource off the market given that the background is a shade of grey also. (I realize it is possible to figure this out if one watches the prices of power, fuel, and the harvester's output, but I prefer to go to the building itself.)
