I couldn't find a post related to this, but I'm interested in seeing a few additional buildings, chiefly late-game buildings or combo buildings. Here's my ideas:
1. For starters, I the different resource mines should be different buildings--It's just confusing when you're playing a fast-paced game and you have to mentally remember that the aluminum and iron buildings are the same, both on the map when scouting opponents as well as when you're trying to build them yourselves. The same with the carbon and silicone...
2. I like that there are "dry ice" and other combo buildings, but I think there should be more. --this would be good for late game strategy development, such as resource expensive buildings that do two things at once, like generate food and oxygen or fuel and water or food and chemicals.
3. Patents for buildings.--After all, you can't patent an idea!--I'm thinking a hydrogen power plant or a silicone plant that also finds trace amounts of carbon.
4. Building upgrades. --maybe this could be linked to the amount of resources on a tile (3 resources allows for 3 upgrades). This would be helpful for targeting your opponent's best buildings with the black market.
