What do you mean by refunding resources? That's supposed to happen if the building is not finished.

I had an issue where the last steel mill in my triangle wouldn't finish building and would disappear. I rebuilt my steel mill 5 different times and every time it would get to about 55% and then stop building and credit me the iron. Rinse repeat.

I asked other people to watch it from their perspective and they could see my steel mill build and then stop building suddenly. Same thing happened when i tried to build a farm. After a little bit another player had a problem where they couldn't build a patent lab no matter how how many times they restarted it.

The pause button doesn't pause the game. 

Also if i choose English (GB) can I have the date in my local format please - the date displayed on the Daily Challenge leaderboard ( Beta 9)  I was confused as to why it was displaying data from 12th May.
