I suggest you make a setting for regional pronunciation of Aluminium so that the text to speech reads it the way the user wants.

USA and Canada can have Aluminum.

Everywhere else on Earth can have Aluminium.

I know this is a small issue and not directly related to gameplay, but since this game is intended for a global audience it makes sense to provide this feature.  For some people, hearing this word said one way will discourage them from the game. Teachers and Parents for instance. Would you want your child or student to begin using a pronunciation of a word which is incorrect where you live?

FYI: The spelling 'aluminium' is the international standard in the sciences according to the IUPAC recommendations. It conforms with the -ium ending of metallic elements.

Rather than make an issue out of being wrong or right, simply provide a setting to switch between the two 'correct' pronunciations.
